The staff of the Stittsville Library want to ensure that the residents of Stittsville are up-to-date on what is happening at our local library branch. At the same time, they share some of the upcoming programs to look forward to this month and during the summer.
Residents can now enter the library to pick-up holds. Currently, there is limited computer use and printing services. All other services will be handed by telephone, email or chat with InfoService at 613-580-2940.
Did you know you can register for a full library card or renew your expired card on the Ottawa Public Library website? Complete the information form and when approved, your new card number will be sent through the mail. You can also go paperless by using the OPL mobile app, or when the library is fully opened again, bring in your number and pick-up a physical card. There is an area (bottom left) on the registration page for renewing your card.
The TD Summer Reading program will be starting registration on June 23. This is an exciting and awesome program for kids aged 0 to 12, and will run from June 28 to August 20, 2021. Check out the Kids’ Zone on the OPL website for the various program activities available each week. The activities themselves will be accessible via Zoom, YouTube or Facebook Live.
