The community continues to say “thank you” to Stittsville’s volunteer firefighters.
On Friday, students from St. Stephen School visited the fire station and dropped off hand-made cards and donuts for the volunteers.
On Monday April 30, there’s a group of residents planning to stop in at Station 81 to say thanks. Adrienne Charlton says: “A friend of mine reminded me the other day about how lucky we are to have brave volunteer firefighters keeping us safe in Stittsville and suggested that the time has come to honour them. Please send them your letters, get your kids to make art or just stop by the station to say thanks. On Monday, April 30 at 7 pm a group of friends are going to Station 81 (1641 Stittsville Main St.) to show support. Please come. Our firefighters deserve it!”
