It is said that variety is the spice of life and on April 12, the Stittsville Legion hosted the inaugural and novel inspiration – ‘Spice of Life Experience’ – bringing an afternoon of enhancing interests for all who attended. Those in attendance enjoyed the opportunity to discover their tastebuds through the various flavours offered by the samples of food, wine and brewery products provided by the vendors. There were fourteen local vendors on hand providing samples and the opportunity to purchase their products.

Businesses who participated at the Spice of Life Experience were from Stittsville and the Ottawa area:
- Acorn Creek Garden Farm, Carp
- Ashton Brewing Company, Ashton
- Base Camp Brewing Co., Almonte
- Brew Revolution, Stittsville
- Celia’s Kitchen, Online
