The Stittsville Cooperative Nursery School has a long history in the community and provides low child:teacher ratios that ensure each child's needs are met. The Nursery School aims to provide a stimulating environment in which children can learn and develop at their own pace, leading to more independence socially, physically, emotionally and intellectually. The program focuses on activities that encourage youngsters to experiment freely and creatively. Children at the Nursery School learn to handle themselves in a larger group of peers, take instruction from adults and develop new relationships.
