Empties for Paws – share the love February bottle drive

Empties for Paws is challenging everyone to Share the Love this February and help save lives by donating their empty beer, wine, liquor bottles and Canadian Tire money to help raise funds for our furry friends.

Stittsville has four local bottle drives participating in coordination with the over 85 bottle drives for animal rescues/shelters listed in the Ottawa Valley and across Ontario.

Collecting ‪empties‬ and Canadian Tire money. Contact Terry at 613-851-8172 or drop off your donation at 316 Eckerson Drive, Stittsville. Leave it on the porch please.

Collecting ‪empties‬ and Canadian Tire money, 101 Mojave Crescent, Stittsville.

Collecting ‪empties‬ and Canadian Tire money, located at 24 Hesse Crescent. The email is  aysemetin@rogers.com

Collecting empties and Canadian Tire money, your donations can be dropped off at 1102 Beckett Crescent, Stittsville.

Since the Empties for Paws inception in January 2015, more than $400,000 has been raised by rescues and shelters to help with food and veterinary costs. Empties can be donated all year round and not just in February.

Empties for Paws can work anywhere. If the animal rescue or shelter you wish to support doesn’t collect empties, we ask you to take this opportunity to cash in your empties and donate the funds directly to them.

We are challenging people everywhere to start Recycle 4 Animals drives to collect items that are refundable in their area to raise funds for their local animal rescue.

A complete list of bottle drives is available on www.EmptiesForPaws.com.

  1. Do you have someone in Sarnia – I have some bottles I want to donate, actually a lot. Or if you happen to have someone in this area at some point that I can arrange to put everything in back of our pick up truck. Please let me know – I love a cause to help animals.
