Come out to a traditional Kentucky Derby Party in support of DueNORTH Canada on May 6, 2017 from 2:30pm to 8:00pm. Cheer on the fastest two minutes in sports and experience some southern charm, while raising funds for school breakfast programs in Nunavut. No child should go to school hungry!
Join us for our own version of Millionaire’s Row at The Barley Mow Stittsville. Come dressed in your finest derby attire, big hats and bowties are fully encouraged! The race starts at 5:00pm. We’ll have live music before and after the race, featuring The Winter Months – formerly TheNewfoundout, a talented band from the Ottawa Valley.
Tickets are $70 each and include three drink tickets for domestic beer, house wine and bar rail; plenty of southern-inspired appetizers and snacks; live music from ‘The Winter Months’; and viewing of the pre-show and the race at 5pm.
In addition, there will be “horse betting” with great prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place; a 50/50 draw; silent auction; and best dressed prizes for the ladies and gentlemen.
