Wildpine Residence held a High Tea at the Ale Restaurant on March 1, 2019 to celebrate their upcoming June opening. Finger sandwiches, scones with jam and clotted cream, various desserts and lots of tea were all enjoyed for those in attendance. Each person received small parting gifts including, of course, an envelope of various teas.

The audience was introduced to the General Manager, Frances de Beaumont and to Lucy DiSanto who is the Recreation Coordinator.  Physio Care will also be on-site to provide services to the residents. A presentation was given introducing the many facilities, description of on-site services, levels of care and various suites that will be available to choose from in this new retirement community. Wildpine’s warm and friendly philosophy was felt during this lovely gathering.

Wildpine is locally owned and operated by Gary Harper (Director of Operations), Frank d’Amato (Ottawa business owner), Shawn Lawrence (Architect), and Ken Gibson (the former landowner). Under the General Managership of Frances, Wildpine promises to make the transition to retirement living an easy choice. They have partnered with Gilda and Marta of Make More Space and Gisele Poirier of Royal Lepage to assist in the areas of selling your current home and with downsizing needs.

The attendees were able to have one-on-one conversations with the General Manager enabling them to get a better idea of the many amenities they can look forward to receiving when they move to Wildpine Residence.

The new Wildpine Residence is still under construction, but preparations are underway to open their model suite in mid-March. Watch for new posters on their ad board at the intersection of Main Street and Wildpine Court indicating the opening of the model suite for viewing.
