The Stittsville Village Association is proud to host Stittsville’s free, family-friendly Canada Day celebration on July 1 on the grounds of Sacred Heart High School, an amazing collaboration of volunteer effort, federal and municipal government grants, and local business support.

Here’s is what’s in store for you, Stittsville!
On the Canadian Heritage Celebrate Canada Stage
3 pm — Opening Song (recorded), “In Canada” by Chris Hadfield
3:05 pm — Welcome and Piping in of the Colour Party (Jordan McConnell)
3:15 pm — Singing of “O Canada” by Emma Barr
3:20 pm — Comments from Mayor Jim Watson, Councillor Shad Qadri, MPP Jack MacLaren, MP Pierre Poilievre
3:40 pm — Cutting of Canada Day Birthday Cake (please have a piece!)
3:50 pm — David da Costa
4:40 pm — Bill Martinword blurb
5:15 pm — U-Rock Music School
6:10 pm — Plum Puppet Entertainment princesses, heros and friends vocal performance
6:40 pm — Retro Rats Showband

  1. Thanks for a great canada day party. Much enjoyed by 6 and 3 year old and parents. Elsa was great, the kids games were so nice and simple but fun , swinging ladder, etc were great. Loved the retro rats band!
