The new Chris Bernard Golf Academy Winter Studio is up and running in the heart of Stittsville.
“We’re open and welcoming golfers at 1498 Stittsville Main St. where players of all levels will be able to swing away in three hitting bays, use a state-of-the-art putting green and we will view and record swings on the latest FlightScope and V1 Swing technology,” said Bernard, who recently joined the staff at the Canadian Golf and Country Club.
The semi-private studio will be open from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays until spring.
Bernard invites men and women players to take advantage of a $199 grand opening early bird membership special that expires on Dec. 15.
There’s also 50% off a junior membership for boys and girls ages 10-17, which is regularly $125, until the middle of the month.
A regular membership becomes $249 on Dec. 16 and individual lessons are $70 for two 30-minute one-on-one sessions.
Walk-in players are welcome to get in some swing time and can do so over the course of 30 minutes for $10.
A bonus of no time restrictions comes into play when a bay is available and clubs can be stored for $25.
Free parking is available behind the studio off Manchester Street.
