Congratulations to the U12P-Nunnikhoven GALAXY team for going undefeated in the Whitby tournament and earning GOLD! Following a round robin draw against a tough Forest team, the U12P GALAXY were sharp and ready for the rematch! In the end, it was WORA 4 – Forest 3. Parents and coaches alike are so proud of the team’s effort and resilience! It is fun to watch this young team learn & grow together and HAVE A BLAST!

The U14A-Gorham team faced their toughest competition this season at the Whitby Tournament last weekend with a stacked division of 10 teams fighting for four spots in semi finals! With two wins, one loss and a tie, the team landed in 4th place. This set up a rematch with the #1 place team Timmins – the only loss they had. The girls pushed themselves and played arguably their best game of the season to win 4-2 and head to the gold medal game against Forest — a team they lost to in semis in Mississauga. They battled back and forth and came out with gold and a 6-5 win. Nice work girls!

The team finished 2nd in the standings after the round robin with a record of three wins and one loss – earning a spot in the final where they faced a very strong Gloucester Cumberland team. The coaches and parents are all very proud of how this team played this weekend and the progress they have made since the season started. Congratulations girls!
