The U14A-Gorham team faced their toughest competition this season at the Whitby Tournament last weekend with a stacked division of 10 teams fighting for four spots in semi finals! With two wins, one loss and a tie, the team landed in 4th place. This set up a rematch with the #1 place team Timmins – the only loss they had. The girls pushed themselves and played arguably their best game of the season to win 4-2 and head to the gold medal game against Forest — a team they lost to in semis in Mississauga. They battled back and forth and came out with gold and a 6-5 win. Nice work girls!

The coaches and parents are all very proud of how this team played this weekend and the progress they have made since the season started. Congratulations girls!
