When books are purchased from the Friends of the Library book sale at ‘Good Reads’ in the Stittville branch, money raised can be used for special things not covered in the library’s regular budget.
JacintaPICS gives back to Stittsville Food Bank for second year with wildlife calendars
Local photographer Jacinta Cillis-Asquith is selling her photo calendars featuring local wildlife for the second year in a row. Half of the sales profits will go to the Stittsville Food Bank to support families in need this holiday season.
John Edkins’ – Iconic Ottawa – coming to two Stittsville locations
The new photography exhibition coming to Stittsville in December will be a double feature. The Iconic Ottawa exhibition is a collection of images by Stittsville photographer John Edkins that represent the best known Ottawa landmarks.
Stittsville Rotary International Fall Film Series Last Two Films
For their final two films of the Fall Series, the Rotary Club of Ottawa-Stittsville will be showing Buffy Sainte-Marie: Carry It On (on November 28th) and Hit the Road (on December 12th). The Club thanks the community for their ongoing support and patronage.
