The caterpillar and butterfly friends will be at the Library throughout May. When they are mature they will be released into a natural setting with a butterfly release party.
Stephany Castilla bringing colourful joy to Stittsville Library
Local artist Stephany Castilla is hosting a month-long solo presentation of her works at the Stittsville Library in April 2023.
The Show is called Vintage in Bloom. Her compositions are inspired by her own collection of vintage items and florals.
John Edkins’ – Iconic Ottawa – coming to two Stittsville locations
The new photography exhibition coming to Stittsville in December will be a double feature. The Iconic Ottawa exhibition is a collection of images by Stittsville photographer John Edkins that represent the best known Ottawa landmarks.

We’re really happy with the busyness in our branch one week into school holidays, many new people coming in to get library cards and children’s programs are well attended
Park officially named for dedicated Stittsville resident Lee Boltwood
In 1965, Lee and Paul Boltwood were married. One year later in 1966, Lee and Paul left their beloved home province of British Columbia to set off in a new direction and their new venture in life.

Some children are very comfortable reading to dogs and enjoy reading with Caileigh, a St. John’s Ambulance therapy dog.

The Ottawa Public Library is offering multiple programs for teens aged 13 to 18 and for youth aged 4 to 12 during March Break week.
